HFF Orange County Named Best Place to Work

HFF, a leading commercial real estate intermediary in Orange County, has earned the distinction of being ranked one of the Orange County Business Journal's Best Places to Work in Orange County for the fourth consecutive year. Ranked 15th this year among large companies (>250 employees), HFF Orange County has displayed a culture of excellence and continuously participated in community service events across the greater Orange County area.

To be considered as one of the Best Places to Work in Orange County, businesses must:

  • Be publicly or privately held
  • Be a for-profit, not-for-profit or government entity
  • Have a facility in Orange County
  • Have a minimum of 15 full-time or part-time employees working in Orange County
  • Must be in business a minimum of one year

Ranking Assessment Process

Once a business meets the eligibility requirements, it goes through a stringent assessment process by the Orange County Business Journal. Factors including employer benefits, policies, employee engagement and satisfaction and others are taken into account during the assessment process. Employee responses are separated into eight different categories featuring:

  • Leadership and planning
  • Corporate culture and communications
  • Role satisfaction
  • Work environment
  • Relationship with supervisor
  • Training
  • Development and resources
  • Pay and benefits
  • Overall engagement

HFF Orange County Gives Back

One thing that sets HFF Orange County apart is its tremendous culture and employees who engage in community service opportunities around the Orange County area. This August, the HFF OC team donated time at Adopt-A-Pantry, an effort by the Second Harvest Food Bank to end hunger across the area. HFF Orange County TeamThe food bank fights to alleviate hunger for more than 240,000 people each month with more than one million pounds of food served. The HFF volunteers sorted donated food, performed quality and safety checks, planted and harvested produce and packaged food.
